Item Description
5.75x15" tin litho sign that was attached to top of Dell Comic Book racks. c. late 1940s. Text reads "Dell Comics Are Good Comics." Topper also features images of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Little Lulu, The Lone Ranger, Andy Panda, Popeye, Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, Porky Pig, Henry and Bugs Bunny. Sign also has rare appearance of Disney characters Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse w/other studios comic characters. Sign shows traces of wear along edges w/a few streaks/.25" areas of bare metal showing. Fine.
