Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 7.5" long tin litho friction car. Marx, 1950s. Box has even moderate aging and one end shows wear w/creases and small spot of surface paper lift. Opposite end has 1" tear to end flap. Box is complete and remains structurally sound. VG/Fine overall. Car depicts Donald Duck as the driver w/passengers including one of his Nephews, Mickey Mouse and Goofy. Doors feature images of "Bambi" and "Thumper" w/their names. Roof has a simulated television set w/clear plastic cover over the screen that features image of Mickey and Donald. While the friction mechanism works, sparks are no longer produced (missing flint) so the "screen" does not light up as intended. Partial aged instruction label below screen. Car remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. Scarce, especially w/box.
