Item Description
Large and impressive felt doll stands 18.5" tall (23.5" to top of felt feathers). Made in Italy by Cresla, c. 1940s. A matching Donald Duck as Native American chief doll was also produced. Very colorful and extremely detailed. Native American attire w/feather headband, fringed outfit and bear claw necklace. Braided hair has ribbons threaded through it. Daisy also has brass hoop earrings and she carries felt basket containing root vegetables. Wire inserts for posing. A few spots of staining to eyelids, and one foot has two small holes from wire while other has single small hole from wire. Felt retains deep, strong color. Fine/VF. Rare and the first we've offered in our 51 years.
