Item Description
This 7.5x11.5" four-page press sheet promotes Mickey Mouse animated shorts from 1930. Front features four different images of Mickey w/center having large "Mickey Mouse - A Columbia Star" promotional image. Bottom center lists titles - "The Fire Fighters, The Cactus Kid, Pioneers Days, Gorilla Mystery, The Picnic, Fiddlin' Around, The Chain Gang" and "The Birthday Party." Press sheet was sent to theaters for promotional purposes, w/interior featuring one-sheet poster for "Barnyard Concert" w/smaller image of Minnie Mouse sitting on piano as Mickey plays. Additional Mickey images advertise "Flash Banner," lobby card and ad mats. Bottom has "Mickey Mouse Poses," featuring six different images, including one w/Minnie. Back features two photos of early theater Mickey Mouse Clubs and another image of Mickey patting himself on the back. Press sheet has three hole punch w/.25" pulls to each hole; this partially obscures one interior Mickey image at bottom. Some lt. handling wear but still Fine overall. Rare and historic, the earliest promotional Mickey Mouse item we have offered in our 51 years.
