Item Description
Lot of 3 vintage 1970s buttons produced during the heyday of this socially relevant and subversive comic book movement. First is 1.25" featuring the classic Robert Crumb character Mr. Natural. Rim marked "© 1971 R. Crumb." The other two, also from the 1970s, are 2.25" both marked "Produced By The Real Free Press, Amsterdam, The Netherlands." Real Free Press was an alternative comic shop and publishing house. One button features "Gilbert Shelton's Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers" and the other is for Larry Todd's "Dr. Atomic." Some spotting on Dr. button but Fine, others are Exc. All are scarce.
