Item Description
These are the buttons shown in the book as #1, 15, and 18. First is 5/8" and Muchinsky noted in the early 20th century the Boston Braves were also known as the Boston Rustlers. That name may have inspired this button, but the button itself was produced by the Sunday School supply house of David Cook Publishing and used to promote attendance by dividing the class into teams for the purpose of new member recruitment. #15 is 1.75" and c. 1960 with a yellow metal back. #18 is a rare 1950s 1-5/8" litho with advertising text. All Exc. to Mint. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
