2" tall two-sided "flip" badge with pin and cord. Front poses question "Who Won The Merrimack Valley Trophy?" Reverse answers question "Knipper In A Chalmers-Detroit".  Tiny text names maker W&H plus "Pat. Applied For". The 12 lap race in Lowell, Mass.  took place Sept. 6, 1909 and badge refers to winner Willie Knipper in car #42. In the AAA Champ Car Series,  this was race 14 of 24. Rare and NM.
