Large 17x22" stiff paper promotional poster for U.S. Marine Corps Reserve "Toys For Tots" features great illustration by Jack Kirby of Thor (Kirby's name appears on Mjolnir), Captain America and Spider-Man handing out toys to children, one of whom wears a "Marvel Mania" shirt. ©1969 Marvel Comics Group. These posters were issued in two varieties, in bw and color and are identical in design aside from some minor details including title on box in front of Captain America and child's shirt. This is much rarer color version. Never folded, though poster has some tape staining at corners and scattered margin wear and lt. scattered dust soiling. Still Fine overall. A rare and desirable 1960s Marvel item. First we've offered.
