Item Description
6.25x10x2.75" deep illustrated box contains 2.5x10x7" tall thick cardboard target and 5" long painted pressed steel gun. Joseph Schneider Inc. ©1935 Stephen Slesinger Inc. Box has instructions on back panel. Three inner flaps and one end flap are loose (all are included) w/other end flap reattached w/tape and w/added tape reinforcement. Main and side panels show very little wear and box remains nice for display. Target has attached wood brace on the back and battery-operated mechanism w/a wood strip and two hinged targets attached at top. Front features different point value targets as well as Tarzan jungle scene illustration. Designed to rock back and forth, revealing the two animal head targets one at a time, mechanism does not work as is typical despite clean battery terminals. Bright, clean and glossy w/just trace edge wear. Metal hinges on back of targets have trace of surface oxidation but still has a NM appearance for display. Gun is missing darts but is Exc. overall. Rare as boxed and in this high grade condition.
