Item Description
Each fob is 1.5" tall and marked "Sterling" on reverse. First names "Du Pont Safety Committee" and has name "E.C. Eggleston" engraved on blank back. Front surface has many small scratches from use but displays Fine. Second, with enamel accents, has female figure with "For Greater Safety" shield. Reverse text "Awarded To (blank) As Recognition Of His Record One Year Without An Accident/E.I. DuPont De Nemours & Company/Chambers Works". NM. Last is 1" brass badge with serial "345" and text "DuPont Fabrikoid Co. Inc. Newbergh, N.Y." Fabrikoid was among the company's first non-explosive products. It was marketed starting in 1910 as artificial leather and widely used in the upholstery, luggage, bookbinding and auto industries. Badge appears c. 1930s or earlier and is Exc.
