Item Description
In 1920, illustrator Harrison Cady began presenting Thornton Burgess characters in a Peter Rabbit Sunday comic for the New York Tribune. Syndication followed with these two 7/8" buttons promoting newspaper sponsored clubs in "Chicago Evening American" and "Utica Observer". No back papers but curl of first names Amoford Mfg. Co. Chicago. NM. Second names Adcraft Mfg. Co. Chicago with two shorts cello splits along back collet but with front displaying Mint. Both scarce.
