Item Description
27.75x41.25" for the original release of the 1936 Grand National crime drama directed by John G. Blystone and starring James Cagney and Mae Clarke. Wonderful stone lithography by Central Show Ptg. Co. of Mason City, IA features large portrait of Cagney w/smaller portrait of Clarke looking up at him. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had moderate restoration along fold lines and at fold crease intersections, including repair to 3/8" hole at bottom fold crease intersection. Pin holes at corners and margins have had some restoration to fold line splits and .25" hole at upper left as well as some scattered edge filling to a few small chips. A couple small impression marks to Clarke's image. Poster retains a bright and clean appearance, w/vivid orange color and displays Fine/VF as linen-mounted.
