Item Description
Lot of seven 11x14" lobby cards for the original release of the 1927 silent film adaptation of Harriett Beecher Stowe's novel, directed by Harry A. Pollard and starring Margarita Fischer, James B. Lowe, Arthur Edmund Carewe, George Siegman, Eulalie Jensen, Mona Ray (in blackface), Gertrude Howard and others. Title card features lovely cast photos. Card scenes include slave auction, steam riverboat, Union forces marching, etc. Cards are evenly aged and each has pin holes/staple holes at corners(s). Title card has spot of moisture staining a bottom left margin. A few margin tears, .5" to 1" long; two cards have tape repairs on backs. Cards are Fine overall. Rare.
