Item Description
27.25x41" for the original release of the 1925 Warner Bros. drama directed by Millard Webb and starring Huntley Gordon, Helene Chadwick, Richard Tucker, Frank Campeau, Margaret Seddon and Carrie Clark Ward. Great stone lithography by Ritchey Litho Co. of New York features image of woman touching man's shoulder through gate w/wonderful spiderweb design at bottom, including spider advancing toward trapped butterfly. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted w/some restoration along fold lines and at fold crease intersections. Lower left has repair to 5" tear, though this blends for the most part in image area. Scattered margin tears have been stabilized by linen-mounting. Clean and Fine/VF overall w/strong color.
