Item Description
28.5x41" for original release of the 1917 silent Fox Film Corporation comedy staring Hank Mann (1888-1971), the originator of the idea for the Keystone Cops and Cops member. Wonderful stone lithography by Alpha Litho Co. Inc. of New York features whimsical image of Mann begrudgingly taking woman's hand in marriage as priest officiates in bkg. To further Mann's frustration, a fly has landed on his nose. Poster was originally folded and has now been linen-mounted w/some professional restoration along fold lines. All blends well, w/just some touch-ups visible to lines in blue field of poster. Margins have has some scattered restoration and as linen-mounted, poster now displays Exc. w/vivid color.
