Item Description
2" dia. silvered metal case w/choice celluloid dial including second hand disc w/three small Mickey Mouse images. 1934. The first version of this watch was issued in 1933 and featured an early, non-traditional image of Mickey Mouse which was quickly revised to the classic Mickey image that appears on this pocket watch. Both versions are rare. Case has small scattered traces of luster wear but most luster remains and w/overall bright appearance. Case is VF. Dial is totally bright, clean and Exc. Running. Comes w/1-1/8" dia. silvered brass fob w/fixed loop at top. Front features Mickey image w/red/black enamel accents and incised "Ingersoll - Mickey Mouse" name, and back has "Ingersoll - Mickey Mouse Watches & Clocks - Copyright Walt Disney" text. All over tarnish, but enamel paint on front is glossy and nearly complete. Fine overall. Fob is even scarcer than the watch, this one of only a few we've offered in our 51 years.
