Item Description
17x23" frame w/10.75x17" opening. Youthful portrait of Gore advertising his candidacy in the "Democratic Primary August 4, 1938." Gore would win the primary and go on to be elected to represent Tennessee. This was his first campaign. Light restoration to repair scuffs in image and text at base. Moderate age toning and handling wear. Displays VF. Rare. Not examined out of frame.
