Item Description
27.5x41" for original release of the 1926 Adventures Pictures 10 chapter adventure serial directed by William James Craft and William A. Crinley and released by Universal Pictures. One of the early cliffhangers targeted for the juvenile audiences, the serial was produced w/the cooperation of the Boy Scouts of America and was adapted from one of the Craig Kennedy stories that appeared in "Boy's Life" magazine,The film is considered to be lost. Poster is for Chapter 1 "The Kick Off!" and features stunning stone lithography by Morgan Litho. Corp. of Cleveland, Oh, showing man leaping between two racing cars. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted w/lt. color touch-ups along fold lines and at fold crease intersections. Margins have had some lt. scattered restoration and poster now displays Exc. as linen-mounted, w/vibrant color.
