Item Description
Sizes are .5" for one threaded post stud up to 2.25" for the largest badges. First item reads" Faithful Service U S Ship Building" with July award suspension. Remaining 12 pieces all include "War Service Ship Building". Row 1 #2 is blank back and missing pin. Row 2 are two brass, one bronze. Row 3 are very similar but with very subtle design differences and with serial numbers 1065, 9544, 20665. Row 4 #1 nickel plated and #1842, #2 brass and #42216, and #3 is nickel with same image each side and with moveable loop at top. Quite unusual. Row 5 #1 bronze #7915 and #2 brass #11879. All likely used 1918-1919 at American International Shipbuilding Corporation's largest shipyard in the world located on Hog Island, near Philadelphia. VF to NM. See ship building badge #711.
