Item Description
The round suspensions are 1.25" and the "Ace/War Savings Service/Boy Scouts /WSS/Of America" is 1.75" tall. This has flattened top loop. Reverse full text "Presented On Behalf Of The National-Savings Committee For Service In The War-Savings Campaign Of 1918". Fine and Scarce.
The other four items have identical designs but different dates or formats, On first two the bar reads "United States Treasury War Service Award". Front slogan is "Every Scout To Save A Soldier". Reverse text related to Scout's service in Liberty Loan Campaign. There is a space to engrave a name but no names are engraved. Back of first bar names "Third Liberty Loan April 1918" but with suspension dated June 1917. Second item's bar names "Victory Liberty Loan" with date of May 1919. However, the two suspensions are both dated for October, 1918. Third in silver luster, no bar, is also dated for October, 1918. Last with no bar is dated for May, 1919. VF to NM.
