Item Description
Sizes are 11/16" (bottom row) to 2.5" award in top row. Each item includes the words "War Savings Service" and/or the initials "W.S.S." There are seven pins and three studs located as Row 1 #3 and Row 3 #3-4. First item includes "Medal of Honor". Second item bar reads "Presented By The Mayor's Committee Of Women On National Defense" w/lower text "Post Office War Savings 1918" and w/engraved reverse "John C. Anders March 27-1919". Made by Dieges & Clust. Third is "Phila Post Office Employee". Fourth-sixth read: "Carriers R.F.D. Service/Letter Carriers' Service/Third Prize-Letter Carriers' Service." Bottom row first three read "Government Savings" First two are pins and first says "District Chairman" and second just "W.S.S." Second two are studs, the first "District Chairman" at bottom and one in brass says "District Chairman" at top. NM to Mint and all limited in distribution.
