Item Description
13.75x41" poster printed by The Otis Lithograph Co. of Cleveland, OH, 1920. Poster features stunning image of Thurston on stage, firing pistol at glass-front box suspended over audience and containing young woman. Man dressed like the devil appears behind Thurston, as if instructing him while three imp-like beings consult the "Book Of Fate" at Thurston's feet. Promotional text reads "Iasia!! Vanished Into Theatre's Dome." Originally folded, poster has three horizontal fold lines and these have had some minor restoration/color touch-ups. Margins have been completely repainted/restored. As restored, poster now displays Exc. w/vivid color. Scarce.
