Item Description
Each 1.75" and both c. 1933 souvenir buttons. First shows trainer Terrell Jacobs with a lion and second shows Allen King with what appears to be a baby buffalo. In 1934, Terrell managed a one ring free circus at the Chicago expo sponsored by Standard Oil Co. Its featured attraction was wild animal trainer Allen King who worked with lions, tigers and leopards billed as "Red Crown ( gasoline brand) Cage Of Fury. Both had long careers but these buttons are both c. 1933 era. Both Exc. displaying Mint. See 1933 GM/Chevy button #740.
