Item Description
1.25" c. 1930 quite similar to the typical design but with two distinctions. Usually this facing right with hand up design button is seen with both orange type and orange pants. On this one, "Mickey Mouse Club" is in deep red and what is most unusual is that his pants are also in deep red, not orange. Another distinct difference is the typeface used for the lettering beneath Mickey's feet. The standard typeface features both upper and lower case letters whereas on this button the typeface is both a different font and all in upper case letters reading "COPY. 1928-1930 BY W.E. DISNEY." No back paper likely as issued. Numerous, but tiny, scratches seen largely just in reflected light and a faint stain trace above the "M" of "Mouse". Full gloss and still displays at least VF. Second seen in our 51 years.
