Item Description
12.75" long heavy cast aluminum Indy 500 style racer w/painted tin wheels and rubber tires; complete w/spare tire on back and painted steering wheel. Tires have raised toy maker's name, Has "The Cleveland Speedway Co." and Cleveland, OH mark. 1940s. Underside has raised "Toledo Racer" name and "Pat Pend" notice. Free-wheeling type racer, w/o wind-up mechanism or gas engine as produced. Moderate paint wear to tin wheels, but tires remain pliable. Scattered aging to aluminum body, but still Fine/VF overall.
