Additional transfer features an eagle and 16 stars, an early seal of the United States, and text "Republicans Are Not Always Ungrateful." Interior of bowl features a large transfer "The Shipwrights Arms." Near seamless restoration along a 3" section of top edge left of La Fayette portrait and a repaired diagonal crack just affects the "A" in "Are." Base of bowl has a "Handle With Care" sticker w/hand written text. Technically Fine but displaying Exc. A rare and impressive early political ceramic.
