Item Description
39.25x55" 2 Fogli poster for the original Italian release of the 1957 Warner Bros. Western "The Restless Breed" directed by Allan Dwan and starring Scott Brady and Anne Bancroft. Wonderful stone lithography by Vecchioni & Guadagno of Rome, Italy features stunning artwork by Ciriello, showing close-up shot of man having pistol shot out of his hand during gunfight. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had some color touch-ups along fold lines. Margins are evenly aged and have scattered moderate restoration, including touch-ups to pin holes at corners, margin tears and corner replacements to upper right and lower left. Center vertical fold line has thin ring of oxidation from tack just below hand. VG/Fine overall as linen-mounted, but would make for nice matted and framed display.
