Item Description
41x79.5" for original release of the 1937 Victory Pictures Western directed by Robert F. Hill and starring Tom Tyler, Lucille Browne, Carmen Laroux, Lon Chaney Jr. (billed as Creighton Chaney) and Jimmie Fox. Great stone lithography by Morgan Litho. Corp. of Cleveland, OH features image of Tyler on horseback w/another cowboy at top w/poster dominated by image of Tyler about to strike man struggling w/woman. As w/all three sheets, this poster is pieced together from three pieces, bottom third being a bit more narrow that other two piece, resulting in some uneven margins, but this is not overly distracting. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and margins have been completely repainted. Moderate scattered touch-ups/restoration along top edge of bottom third, including a few .75" edge fills. Scattered color touch-ups along fold lines and at fold crease intersections as well as to Tyler's hand and yellow shirt. Fine/VF as linen-mounted w/strong color.
