Item Description
7.75" tall overall, Donald Duck figure is 5.5" and stands atop 3.75" dia. weighted base. Made in Japan, 1930s. Back has raised "Donald Duck - © Walt Disney - Japan" along w/Japanese company mark. Great depiction of long-billed Donald w/movable arms. Arms have been re-strung. Designed w/granules inside of base so toy also serves as a rattle as it rocks back and forth. Small inspection sticker on Donald's backside. 1-1/8" line of denting above Donald's leg. Back of head has 1" split along seam and top of base has two 1" dents to back edge, between Donald's feet. Red portion of base has 1.25x1.5" area of shallow denting, but toy remains free of any cracks. VG/Fine but still very nice for display. Large and impressive celluloid toy. Rare.
