Item Description
15.5x18.5" frame w/10.25x13.25" opening. "Designed By S. J. Ferris, James R. Rice, Phila." at bottom r/l. Highly detailed allegorical imagery surrounding portraits including busts of Jackson, Jefferson and Washington and slogans "Liberty Equality Fraternity," "The Union Forever One And Inseparable" and "No North No South No East No West." Light and even age toning w/a few scattered dots of light brown toning throughout most notably affecting the portrait of Hendricks. Fine. Professionally framed w/UV blocking glass. Not examined out of frame.
