Item Description
Pair of hand-painted high relief thin Vacuform plastic prototype Halloween masks, each w/attached sheet w/inked names. 1970s. Archie Bunker measures 7.25x10" and features cigar molded in mouth. Scattered edge cracks, ranging from .25" to 3/8" but mask still displays nicely. Fine/VF. Edith Bunker measures 8x10.25" and also has scattered edge cracks, ranging from 1/8" to .5" at top. Lower half of mask has some aging and edge of hair has some minor paint wear. Fine. Neither of these masks were produced as they did not test well w/children. Truly unique items for one the all-time classic TV shows of the 1970s. From the Collegeville Archives (see other Collegeville items throughout the auction).
