Item Description
As numerous Mickey Mouse bisques were produced during the 1930s, most collectors don't realize the rarity of this particular bisque. There were two different sizes produced of this pose, Mickey w/head turned slightly to one side (matching Minnie Mouse bisques were also made in two sizes). This is the larger of the two at 6" tall (the other is 5" tall). Two color varieties were also made, this one has red pants and green shoes whereas the other has green pants/brown shoes. Both arms are movable. Missing string tail w/area of glue at hole and partial 1928-1930 copyright label under base. Some scattered aging to white portions of face and paint wear to tip of nose. Scattered paint wear to sides of pants where hands rubbed. Fine/VF overall. We have only offered a handful of this bisque over our 51 years.
