Item Description
Pair high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween masks for "Blondie" comic strip couple. Collegeville, 1969. Both have been completely hand-painted. Blondie mask is 7.5x8.5" while Dagwood measures 6-7/8x9.5" and both are marked "Original" in black ink on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying them as unique prototypes. Blondie has minor scattered paint wear around nose and lips and is o/w Exc. Dagwood has scattered paint wear to face but all individually applied letters spelling "Dagwood" on painted hatband present. Mask has some tiny scattered edge cracks. Fine/VF overall.
