Item Description
Pair of all original art designs for Barney Google and Spark Plug, 1964-65. 9x10.5" trimmed sheet of vellum features detailed Barney Google mask image w/some penciled production notations along bottom edge. 9x12" vellum sheet w/attached cut out piece of thin cardboard features detailed "Sparkplug" mask image w/cut out and painted cardboard pieces added at neck and snout is separate piece w/applied mouth and tongue. Penciled name and production notations along top margin. Both vellum sheets have cut out piece of thin cardboard attached to backs to allow art to display better. Vellum sheets have some aging and dust soiling w/some scattered paint wear to Barney's hat, but o/w art remains clean and VF overall. Unique pair. These designs changed slightly when produced, w/Barney's hat having a slightly different shape and Spark Plug's hair in different position w/fly added to nose.
