Item Description
5x9.5x10" tall wooden toy piano. Marks Bros. ©1936 WDE stamp on back of piano. Complete w/separate attached pair of die-cut and jointed cardboard figures of Mickey and Minnie Mouse which dance as keys are struck. Of the eight keys, only one no longer produces musical note. Illustrated panel above keys depicts Mickey and Minnie singing, w/songbook at center. Scene behind the dancing figures depicts Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, Pluto and Fiddler Pig singing, dancing and playing instruments. Piano has just trace wear w/some aging/staining to piano keys. This toy was prone to fading but this example exhibits strong color w/a bright appearance. VF overall w/Exc. bkg. panel and nicer than typically found. Scarce . Wonderful graphics and great design.
