28.5x42.5" w/"Greve Litho Co. Milwaukee Wis" at lower left. 1908. Cartoon image of Bryan using telephone w/bellows labeled "Campaign Speeches" in background, signed in print "Kemble" at lower right. Caption below reads "'Hello, Central, I Want To Talk To The American Workingman/He's At Work And Very Busy, Mr. Bryan; Ring Off, Please.'" Three each vertical and horizontal folds. A few short margin tears and wear along fold junctions. Extremely Fine and will frame to Exc. An outstanding poster by the illustrator Edward Kemble whose work was a major influence on the American comic book style. The first example we've offered in our 51 years.
