Item Description
Complete four-piece kit for Buddhist superhero character who appeared in several comic books and pulp magazine during the 1940s. Kit includes original envelope w/"Green Lama Club" return address and typed recipient name/address. Envelope has uneven top as opened, aged strip of tape on back and some scattered small spots of staining. VG/Fine. 8.5x11" single-sided "Green Lama" code chart folded as mailed and is evenly aged w/small spot of staining at top center. VF. Comes w/2.5x4.25" illustrated membership card, bearing inked member name that matches envelope, member number and printed Green Lama signature. Exc. 2-3/8x7" "Victory" folding card trick which is known in two variations. This version is version w/instruction panel below Mussolini w/"Green Lama's Escapo" game title. Card has seven horizontal creases and even aging w/some handling wear. VF overall. Among the rarest comic book club kits. Elaborate and nicely designed.
