Item Description
7.25" tall heavy, thick rose-colored glass vase is unmarked but European made, 1930s. 4.5" dia. base tapers to 4-7/8" dia/ at top w/average thickness of 3/8". Highest quality glass has etched exterior w/two repeated scenes; one shows Mickey Mouse presenting flower to a shy Minnie Mouse, who hides behind umbrella while other scene features classic image of Mickey playing one-stringed banjo. Art Deco detailing between scenes has translucent yellow and black paint accents, and both Mickey and Minnie images bear matching coloring. Base has also been painted black, this shows just trace wear w/just a few pinpoints dots of paint off images but still Exc. overall. Very rare and the first we've offered in our 51 years. Among the most exquisite of all 1930s Disney items we have ever offered.
