Item Description
Pair of thin cardboard window cards promoting 1950s spook shows. Both feature same graphic of eyes peering out of the darkness and monster carrying unconscious woman through swamp. First is 14x22" for "Giant Stage And Screen Scream Show" held at the State Theatre on March 16. Both venue location and year are unlisted. Card also features image of Glenn Strange as Frankenstein w/"Alive! In Person! Frankenstein Monster." 1" tear at bottom corners w/2.25" to 3" corner creases. Card has margin aging and is VG/Fine overall. Second is 13-5/8x22" for "On Stage! In Person!" performance, w/card text advising "You Dare Not Look Into His Eyes!" Wonderful split fountain coloring. Blank marquee at top. Printed by the Benton Card Company of Benson, NC. Margin aging and corner tip wear but still Fine overall.
