Item Description
Lot of three items from Himmelreich's Grove, a noted venue for early country musicians in Womelsdorf, PA during the 1940s and 1950s. The hosts of this venue were musical couple Uncle Jack and Mary Lou, who also preformed there w/their band. Lot includes vintage 5x7" photo showing Uncle Jack and Mary Lou in Western attire w/their house band, each having their name printed as part of the photo below their image. 1940s. Pin holes at top corners and some penciling and scattered wear to bottom margin. VG/Fine. 2-1/8" dia. pocket mirror features photo image of Uncle Jack and Mary Lou, w/their names and "Greetings" rim text. Celluloid covering has .25" V-shaped nick at 9 o'clock position, w/loss of surface paper at this areas as well. Image is not affected. VG. 25.5" long (not counting streamers) felt pennant from same time period has pennant within a pennant design, reading "Uncle Jack And Mary Lou - Himmelreich's Grove." One streamer is missing two third of length and silk-screened design has .5" spot of wear but o/w Fine.
