Item Description
This is the largest and rarest Snow White bisque set. Made in Japan, c. 1938. A similar but smaller musician set was also produced. Original 9.5x16x2.25" deep cardboard/wood box w/illustrated lid label. Lid has pair of .25x1.5" side panel strips missing. Additional scattered wear/aging but bottom remains tight and complete w/dividers. VG/Fine overall. This larger set consists of 6.5" tall Snow White, the Dwarfs are each about 4.25" tall. Snow White stands in pose w/her arms raised to her chest while each Dwarf is depicted playing a different instrument. Few tiny paint rubs as made but set retains clean and fresh appearance displaying as nicely as the day they were produced. Choice NM/Mint condition, as nice as can be found. Rarest Snow White set and even rarer as boxed, making this a truly exceptional item for the Disney collector.
