Item Description
30 of 32, each is 3.25x5.25". Issued in 1950. The Monroe card is graded by SGC as 7.5 NM+. This is the earliest and most desirable of three different Monroe exhibit cards printed in the 1950s. She is shown in a bathing suit wearing bizarre animal mittens and a pair of boots. Cards in this set were issued in four different colors (brown, blue, green, purple). In our March 2014 auction we offered a full set with a SGC 5.5 Monroe (in green) and the lot sold for $701. The Monroe card here (blue) is a significantly higher grade. The rest of the set features other stars such as: Alexis Smith, Yvonne De Carlo, Linda Darnell, Virginia Mayo, Lana Turner, Dorothy Lamour, Jean Arthur, Ann Miller and more. Tiny trace of cornet tip wear but all NM to Mint.
