Item Description
Set of 100 (both first and second series), each 2-5/8x3.25". Issued 1910-12 by American Tobacco Co. in Turkish Trophies Cigarettes. ACC# T57. Card fronts feature choice full color art w/attractive gold boarders. A wide variety of fables are included, most featuring animals, such as "The Goose And The Golden Egg, The Frog And The Ox, The Farmer And His Stork" and many others. Text backs for that fable along with a "Moral" as well as cigarette advertising. Scattered lt. to moderate margin/corner tip wear. Scattered aging to backs. Mostly VG to EX+. A wonderfully illustrated set.
