Item Description
This two-piece Western outfit from the 1950s was originally obtained through "Genuine Disney Auctions - Official Products Direct From The Walt Disney Company" and comes w/their COA. As noted on certificate this was "Worn By Mouseketeer John Joseph 'Jay-Jay' Solari Every Friday For 'Talent Roundup Day'." Shirt is described as "Custom-mad Twill, Faux-pearl Snaps And Nametag Stitched Over The Right Pocket." Pants are described as "Custom-made Twill, Brown Piping And Faux-pearl Snaps/Writing Inside The Waistband Identifies The Mouseketeer." Both items have minor aging/wear from use during TV production but no serious defects. VF. Also included, but not purchased from the Disney Auction, is a 5" tall tin litho "Special Deputy Mouseketeer" badge. This is like the badges worn by the cast but also came w/store bought 1950s Mouseketeer outfits by L.M. Eddie Mfg. Some lt. aging w/pinpoint scattered paint nicks. Fine. A historic piece of Disney/TV memorabilia. Comes w/custom made mannequin and matching shoes, but can be shipped w/o mannequin to lower shipping costs. If shipped w/mannequin, the shipping charges (depending on location and method of shipping) may be substantial due to size and weight.
