8.5x21.5x3" deep illustrated box contains near complete set, an early un-numbered Marx set. 1950s. Box has scattered corner tip/edge wear and some scattered moisture staining to lid but is Fine overall. Comes w/instruction sheet and assembled tin litho bunk house. Numerous hard plastic parts/accessories. are contained in original marked paper bags w/exception of the front entry way w/gate and complete set of 22 interlocking fence sections. Bags show scattered handling wear. Set has the following hard plastic parts as contained in bags - "Bunk House Furniture" including bunk bed, pot belly stove, table, benches; 12 pieces in all, missing only fireplace. "Ranch Accessories" include tree, cactus, forge, anvil, well w/bucket; 11 pieces in all. "Ranch Animals" includes three horses, one steer, all soft plastic. "Cowboys" includes eight figures, three are riders that go on the three horses, plus a cowgirl and four others. These cowboys are made of a hard vinyl material. Well has been assembled and two small peg/posts are broken off, but roof can be placed for display. The set is for the most part complete w/pieces in Exc. condition overall. Set even comes w/a small thin rope lariat which is shown in the photo image of the instruction sheet of a "Suggested Layout," hung on hitching post.
