21.5x43" fabric rug w/velveteen nap and fringe trim along right and left side edges. Design in bwr/orange/yellow/blue/green and depicts Mickey playing an accordion as Donald and Pluto dance while in the bkg. is a ship and ocean. Originally came w/small "Made In Italy" fabric tag attached to reverse although this is missing. c. late 1930s. Overall lt. trace of aging, dust soiling but this is really only noticeable on the white areas, mainly Mickey's face and Donald's body. Color is still quite nice. Has only a small trace of wear to the nap which includes small scattered areas on the black coloring used as accents below the feet of each character. There is a .25" dia. spot where nap is missing between the images of Mickey and Donald. One other noteable spot of nap wear is a very thin 3" long streak where nap is missing horizontally across Mickey's midsection. All of these are minor defects which are really only noticeable when viewed closely. Overall appearance is quite nice. All fringe trim is intact. Still displays VF.
