Item Description
Unworn pair of satin-like socks from the 1930s come in vintage generic Christmas gift box that is unmarked, lid is blw/silver w/candles and holly leaves and berries. Box has lt. trace of tanning but tight and VF. Socks are 10" long and on each side of ankle cuff is silk screen image of Mickey 1.5" tall. The two socks are held together by original straight pin that also holds cardboard price tag marked "The Broadway" plus size of 8-1/2 and price of 25 cents. Socks are also complete w/pair of paper labels. One of these is a wrap-around label attached at heel w/same illustration on each side featuring two different images of Mickey, one on the edge of the table, the other seated on a stool. There is a second label at toe area of one sock w/third image of Mickey. These labels are Exc. While the socks have never been worn, one has small scattered tan age spots caused by storage over the years o/w socks remain exceptionally bright and the silk screen images are not affected.
