Item Description
Lot of two pieces, each 7.25x10.25" used in the production of a two-sided subscription renewal offer paper. Copyright 1964. Each piece consists of bw paper sheet w/printed base art plus three separate acetate cover separation overlays. Front section features illustration of Mickey, Donald as Santa, Uncle Scrooge and Goofy singing Christmas carols. Taped to the center is a 1.5x2.25" "Shop Dummy" information paper including customer name "K.K. Publications." The dummy for the back of the sheet includes illustration of gift card that was to be sent to subscription recipients as well as the cover to "Donald Duck's Lucky Day" Tell-A-Tale book which was included as a free gift w/subscription. Both pieces have additional inked production notations and are held together by strips of clear tape on all margins which have yellowed w/age. Dummy was used in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. plant. General aging but Fine. A unique item for the WDC&S collector.
