Grindley Ware figure in same pose as figurine by Brayton Laguna although slightly smaller size 3" tall painted and glazed ceramic by Grindley Ware of Sebring, Ohio. Missing company foil sticker. Underside has inking but words are blurry and cannot be made out. c. 1940. Back has a few scattered pinpoint paint dots but still Exc. Brayton Laguna figure is painted and glazed ceramic. Slightly larger than Grindley Ware figure at 3.5". This version is also c. 1940. Underside has incised "3." As made and under the glaze has a couple tiny dots of black color on white areas of stomach and left side of face but these are minor and piece is still Exc.
