Item Description
This is an exceptionally large pocket mirror. There is no maker name. Mirror silvering is covered is whitish small craze lines and yet silvering remains largely intact and properly reflective. The celluloid side has wonderful photo of a young girl in stars and stripes dress holding a crisscrossed pair of American flags. She wears a tri-cornered hat in red accented by stars. Scattered and very trivial wear to the celluloid shows only in reflected light. Exc. and displays Mint. A remarkable celluloid piece from the World War I era. Only our second seen. Rare.
